Summary 0000003: /Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/var/mysql/: wrong rights
Description /Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/var/mysql/ isn`t readable for users without root-privileiges.

currectly have it this rights:
drwx------ 12 nobody wheel 408 Nov 26 17:03 mysql

but the rights like 755 are better.

 Thanks for reporting.

This however does ot in anyway disturb mysql from running.
We will correct the privileges in the next version.

 By the way,

I would set the rights to 775.
So this should fix the problem:

chmod 775 -Rv /Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/var/mysql
